MY BACKGROUND

 

I was born and raised in the South-Eastern part of Italy called Apulia, a region rich of history, culture and great food due to its unique location on the Adriatic coast that offers hot summers and mild winters. Apulia is also reknown for its olive oil, grains, fruits, wines, cheeses, meats and fish. 

 

When you are born a woman in Apulia, you are raised to feed generations. Sunday family lunches that last hours talking and laughing, friends' midnights get-togethers, holidays spent with family and friends, there is always an opportunity to cook for many people and to exchange recipes. Families take pride in their foods, and mothers pass on their recipes to their daughters. 

 

I had the unique experience of also working in restaurants in Northern/Southern Italy and USA, and visiting in-laws in Mexico being married to a Mexican cook, hence I had the privilege of learning from many different people the art of cooking and now I am taking all these great experiences and flavors to you, so that you can pass them on to your families.
